Technical Visit to Eagle Security Centre – Lock Technology

Sincerest gratitude to Mr. Eric Lee, from Eagle Security Centre for showing the participants on different types of mechanical lock technology. One of the interesting technology is the “Key It Twice” lock system, where one loses the key A and activate the lock with Key B, the Key A will be disabled. We also get to understand how mechanical lock works, which we can see the inside of the lock cylinder with core pins of various lengths and pin spring located under each one. When the correct key is inserted, it matches the profile which unlock the lock. The technical visit ends with delicious nasi lemak dinner.
